There are a great variety of letterforms or fonts. Some artists/graphic designers spend their lifetime studying typography and designing new typefaces. As you travel about your daily lives, look around you and observe the multitude of typefaces or fonts that are used in your environment. Look at signs, posters, books,magazines, graphic novels advertisements, logos on your clothes and buildings. The letters that you see and how they are used, communicate an idea or feeling to you even though you may not be consciously aware of it!
