Students were given the challenge to create a cohesive design using basic shapes,line and a limited color palette as they began to explore Adobe Illustrator and all it has to offer. Their use of typography was limited to their name and a font that they liked.

They then had to design a bookmark using their original design as an anchor from which to base the rest of their bookmark layout upon. They could add some type of phrase to their design if they wished.
