The principles of design suggest how a designer can best arrange the various elements on a page with one another into a unified, well balanced design.

balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, pattern, rhythm, and unity are the principles...

I added the some other principles also that I use regularly!

Principles of Design

Rythmn

Proportion/Scale

Repetition.

Rhythm is a principle of design that suggests movement or action. Rhythm is usually achieved through repetition of lines, shapes, colors, and more. It creates a visual tempo in artworks and provides a path for the viewer’s eye to follow.

Proportion is largely about the relationship of the size of one element when compared to another. When drawing or painting realistically, proportion is important. If the proportions are incorrect, then the resulting image will look less realistic or abstracted.

Repetition is the duplication of the same element or style throughout a layout or document.Repetition

is often paired with or used to mean the same thing such as consistency

Balance

Balance refers to how the elements of art (line, shape, color, value, space, form, texture) relate to each other within the composition in terms of their visual weight to create visual equilibrium.

There are 3 types of balance:

Symmetrical

Mirroring or             duplicating or           an object

Asymmetrical..

different 0bjects         placed  for visual       balance

Radial Balance
