Multi-media One is an introductory level, project based course that will provide you with the opportunity to create your own unique ideas and solutions to design problems and evolve them to their final fruition. Students will integrate text, graphics, photographs, illustrations into their designs using traditional design processes and digital media. 

 

This class will stress traditional design and art principles with an emphasis on original work, concept development and adherence to planning, organization and meeting deadlines in a professional manner. You will be introduced to vector and raster based graphics programs such as Adobe Ilustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe in Design and Adobe Flash, in addition to typography, layout,and grid

layout practices.

 

You will be expected to keep your work organized on your computer/portfolio. 

 

THIS IS NOT A WEB DEVELOPMENT CLASS!

 

The focus of this first year of Multi-media is to have you develop and learn the basics of design, teach you how to THINK !!! and CREATIVELY solve design problems using your OWN Ideas.

 

You should have fun in this class, but first and foremost, you must treat this class as any of your other classes by being responsible, turning in your only best work and meeting deadlines!!
